- I'm claustrophobic. Is the open MRI really open?
- Yes. There is no tube. There is no tunnel overhead. The machine is open on the sides. You lie on a flat table and the magnet sits beside you, not wrapped around you. You can see the room the entire time. Patients who panicked in traditional MRI machines regularly complete scans here without issue.
- What's the weight limit?
- Our open MRI accommodates patients up to 550 lbs.
- How soon can I get in?
